My name is Ryan Young and I'm a professional photographer with over a decade of experience in the sports and entertainment industry, ranging from time as a PR Director to Head of Content for various professional sports teams. Now, I photograph everything from sports, to weddings, to non-profit community events and even handle studio and portrait sessions. I'm comfortable delivering in fast-pace, unpredictable and chaotic environments, but obviously enjoy the peaceful ones as well. Before entering the sports industry in 2009, I graduated cum laude from Loyola Chicago after serving nearly five years as a United States Army Infantryman with the 3-187 Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.

My current focus and love revolves around capturing the split-second emotional moments that can tell your story that day, next week, next month and over the years. My wide-ranging experience professionally, as well as my time on two combat deployments in Iraq have provided me a one-of-a-kind perspective that is grounded on living squarely in the moment and caring about what I shoot in such a personal way that it shines through in the photos I deliver. Thus, it's why the name Linchpin Creative came to be. I can play a vital role in the story you want to share and remember.
